Dr Avishek Das is a senior Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in shoulder & knee minimally invasive arthroscopic surgeries, shoulder & hip replacement and complex trauma. He has more than 15 yrs of experience in Orthopaedic and trauma care. He graduated from Medical College Calcutta in 2000. Thereafter he completed his postgraduate training in Orthopaedics and was awarded the Diplomate of National Board (DNB) New Delhi. Subsequently he was admitted as a Member of the National Academy of Medical Sciences (MNAMS) He previously worked at NHS in the UK and qualified to be a Member of Royal College of Surgeons (MRCS) He was attached to NRS Medical College and Hospital as Clinical tutor. He also visited the National University Hospital at Singapore for higher training in Shoulder and elbow surgeries in 2018. The journey from illness to wellness starts from careful assessment of the patient’s condition, offering him/her advanced surgical procedures if required and guided rehab to bring him back to normal life and activities. The mental and physical well being together contributes the success of his treatment.
